1968年9月出生,中国科学院院士。学科方向是磁性功能材料。曾任北京航空航天大学材料科学与工程学院院长、空天先进材料与服役教育部重点实验室主任,兼任中国材料研究学会常务理事等。长期从事高性能稀土磁性材料的功能调控、材料制备和工程应用研究。主持国家自然基金委创新群体项目、国家自然基金委重大仪器项目、国家重大创新项目等。提出了纳米异质结构磁致伸缩效应新机理,发明了大应变铁基巨磁致伸缩材料;解决了稀土巨磁致伸缩材料使用温域窄、不耐腐蚀的重要难题,制备出高性能稀土巨磁致伸缩晶体材料;发明了耐高温抗氧化高性能稀土永磁材料。研制的高性能磁性材料在重要装备上获得了重要应用。发表学术论文300余篇,授权国家发明专利40余项,获国家技术发明一等奖(排2)、国家自然科学奖二等奖(排1)等。
Jiang Chengbao, born in September 1968, is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research field is magnetic functional materials. He has served as the Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Beihang University, and the Director of the Key Laboratory of Aerospace Advanced Materials and Services under the Ministry of Education. He also holds a standing director position in the China Materials Research Society. He has long been engaged in the functional regulation, material preparation, and engineering application research of high-performance rare earth magnetic materials. He has led projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation's Innovative Group Project, the National Natural Science Foundation's Major Instrument Project, and Major National Innovation Project. He proposed a new mechanism for the magnetostriction effect of nano-heterostructures and invented large strain iron-based giant magnetostrictive materials; he solved the important problems of narrow temperature range and corrosion resistance of rare earth giant magnetostrictive materials, and prepared high-performance rare earth giant magnetostrictive crystalline materials; he invented high-temperature resistant and oxidation-resistant high-performance rare earth permanent magnetic materials. The high-performance magnetic materials developed by him are used in important fields. Over 300 academic papers have been published, and more than 40 national invention patents have been granted. The team has also won the first prize of National Invention Technology (ranked 2nd), the second prize of National Natural Science (ranked 1st).
